 The goal:

1. Retirement Equity Portfolio of $1,000,000
2. Passive income from Rental Portfolio of $70,000
3. Annual Passive Income of $100,000 (rental income + dividends combined)

We are currently mortgage free but won’t be including the value of our principal residence or cottage as we have no plans to sell either. We have also omitted the value of our workplace defined benefit pension plans and children’s RESP.

COMMENTARY:
Some big changes over last few months. We purchased another rental and have been extremely busy getting it ready for tenants. We also had our rental properties re-evaluated by an appraiser. The re-evaluations coupled with the stock market appreciation we've been having has increased our retirement net worth by a whopping $351,919.
