Retirement Portfolio Net Worth - As of Dec30 - 2022

  The goal: 1. Retirement Equity Portfolio of $1,000,000 2. Rental Portfolio Value of $1,200,000 3. Annual Passive Income of $60,000 (rental income + dividends combined) We are currently mortgage free but won’t be including the value of our principal residence or cottage as we have no plans to sell either. We have also omitted the value of our workplace defined benefit pension plans and children’s RESP. COMMENTARY: December was pretty uneventful. No major issues with the rentals and I increased the amount of one of my loan payment on the rentals to compensate for the dramatic rise in interest rates.   ASSETS. Although, there were a few minor issues that required a fair amount of my time, but not a large amount of my money. I also slightly increased the amount of 2 of my loan payment on the rentals to compensate for the dramatic rise in interest rates.   ASSETS.
