Retirement Portfolio Net Worth - As of March1-2021
T he goal is a retirement portfolio net worth of $1,000,000 and an annual passive income of $40,000. We are currently mortgage free but won’t be including the value of our principal residence or cottage as we have no plans to sell either. We have also omitted the value of our workplace defined benefit pension plans and our children’s RESP. As I mentioned last month we've been doing some renovations to the duplex we recently purchased. Well the good news is that both units have been fixed up and both will be tenanted by the end of the month. I've also adjusted the estimated selling price of some of the rentals as the housing market has been absolutely crazy in our area.
