Retirement Portfolio Net Worth - As of Aug01 - 2023

  The goal: 1. Retirement Equity Portfolio of $1,000,000 2. Rental Portfolio Value of $1,200,000 3. Annual Passive Income of $60,000 (rental income + dividends combined) We are currently mortgage free but won’t be including the value of our principal residence or cottage as we have no plans to sell either. We have also omitted the value of our workplace defined benefit pension plans and children’s RESP. COMMENTARY: Everything was quiet on the rental front but we planning on spending a few more thousand on one of the units in the coming months. ASSETS. July Contributions: $2,000 Retirement Equity Portfolio: $703,686 (UP $24,535 stock market appreciation + $2K contribution) Rental Property #1: $150,000 (estimated selling price) Rental Property #2: $350,000 (estimated selling price) Rental Property #3: $350,000 (estimated selling price) Rental Property #4: $275,000 (estimated selling price) Total Retirement Assets: $1,853,211 (UP $24,535) LIABILITIES : Rental Property Loan #1: $42,065 (do
