The goal:

1. Retirement Equity Portfolio of $1,000,000
2. Passive income from Rental Portfolio of $70,000
3. Annual Passive Income of $100,000 (rental income + dividends combined)

We are currently mortgage free but won’t be including the value of our principal residence or cottage as we have no plans to sell either. We have also omitted the value of our workplace defined benefit pension plans and children’s RESP.

COMMENTARY:
There hasn't been any major changes since the last update. Our most recent rental is now all fixed up and tenanted. We're taking a breather and deciding if we're going to continue to add to our rental portfolio or just concentrate on our equity portfolio going forward.
