Retirement Portfolio Net Worth - As of Dec1-2021

The goal is a retirement portfolio net worth of $1,000,000 and an annual passive income of $40,000. We are currently mortgage free but won’t be including the value of our principal residence or cottage as we have no plans to sell either. We have also omitted the value of our workplace defined benefit pension plans and children’s RESP.

I've also revised the selling price of our rental houses as prices have been skyrocketing in our area. The rental house price revision tips our retirement portfolio net worth over the 1 million dollar mark for the first time ever. It looks great on paper but our cashflow hasn't changed at all as we haven't had any vacancies for a while so most of our units are renting for well under market.
