Retirement Portfolio Net Worth - As of Oc3-2023

 The goal:

1. Retirement Equity Portfolio of $1,000,000
2. Rental Portfolio Value of $1,200,000
3. Annual Passive Income of $60,000 (rental income + dividends combined)

We are currently mortgage free but won’t be including the value of our principal residence or cottage as we have no plans to sell either. We have also omitted the value of our workplace defined benefit pension plans and children’s RESP.

COMMENTARY:
I've decided to change my posting frequency to every other month. As I'm basically the only reader every other month will cut the work in half but still allow me to accurately document my journey to FI. The markets have been heading south over the last couple of months and our portfolio has reflected that. Despite a $3,300 contribution we are $12,982 poorer than last posting.
