2021 Year in Review
Overall 2021 was a fantastic year for us financially. This is despite the ongoing COVID pandemic. We contributed $26,800 to our stock portfolio, paid off $41,045 in mortgage debt and increased our overall retirement portfolio by a whopping $ 377,472. My plan for 2022 is to just stick to my boring but consistent plan, steady eddy, more of the same. Contribute as much as possible to our stock portfolio, look for deals on another rental and keep reducing our debt by $40,000 annually. That being said I'm not expecting anywhere near the portfolio appreciation that we've seen this year. I'm basing my 2022 goals on 0% price appreciation on the rental units and a 7% increase to our stock portfolio. My goal for 2022 is to increase our net worth by a modest $80,000.
