Retirement Portfolio Net Worth - As of Mar2 - 2020

The goal is a retirement portfolio net worth of $1,000,000 and an annual passive income of $40,000. We are currently mortgage free but won’t be including the value of our principal residence or cottage as we have no plans to sell either. We have also omitted the value of our workplace defined benefit pension plans and our children’s RESP.

Overall Feb was a terrible month on paper. Our stock portfolio took it right on the chin. I'm not overly concerned as we were overdue for a correction and the Corona virus was just the catalyst that the market needed.  As far as the rentals go I only spent about $50 to do some minor improvements in one of the units. We've also put in a bid for another single family rental but at this point it looks like the deal will not go through.
