2022 Year in Review

Overall 2022 was a very boring year for us financially.  Our retirement portfolio remained virtually unchanged (down 1.6%). Although this is definitely nothing to brag about we faired relatively well compared to the TSX (down 8.66%) and the S&P (down 19.4%). Despite the small decrease in our investment portfolio our net worth squeaked out a small gain of $19,414 due primarily to $16,000 of new money being added as well as a decrease in our liabilities on the rental properties.   ASSETS Contributions Made in 2022: $16,000 Retirement Portfolio: $685,363 (down $11,050) Rental Property #1: $130,000 (No change in 2022) Rental Property #2: $350,000 (No change in 2022) Rental Property #3: $300,000 (No change in 2022) Rental Property #4: $225,000 (No change in 2022) Total Retirement Assets: $ 1,670,605  (down $11,050) LIABILITIES : Rental Property Loan #1: $ 43,452  (down $3,206 in 2022) Rental Property Loan #2: $ 116,052  (down $8,622 in 2022) Rental Property Loan #3: $ 175,279  (down $10
