The goal is a retirement portfolio net worth of $1,000,000 and an annual passive income of $40,000. We are currently mortgage free but won’t be including the value of our principal residence or cottage as we have no plans to sell either. I transferred $4100 to our retirement accounts and only spent approx $280 for a new lawn mower for one of the rentals. As far as the market goes I purchased a half position in Algonquin Power and Utilities (AQN).It's also the first month since February where our retirement assets exceeded the 1 million dollar mark. Even though it's not a huge increase from last month it's a psychological boost to see seven figures again. I was able make a $3500 RRSP contribution and had no issues with any of the rental units. So for the first time in a long time the amount spent on the rentals was $0. I do plan on replacing some windows later in the year but other than that I don't anticipate any major expenses for the rest of 2020.
