Retirement Portfolio Net Worth - As of Feb3 - 2020

The goal is a retirement portfolio net worth of $1,000,000 and an annual passive income of $40,000. We are currently mortgage free but won’t be including the value of our principal residence or cottage as we have no plans to sell either. We have also omitted the value of our workplace defined benefit pension plans and our children’s RESP.

We didn't make any contributions to the retirement portfolio however, I did contribute the full annual amount into our childrens education saving account. It was a quiet month for the rentals. I spent about $200 on some plumbing repairs and one tenant indicated that they will be moving out sometime in Feb. All in all it was a pretty sleepy month for the portfolio despite all the turbulence in the markets.
