Retirement Portfolio Net Worth - as of June3 -2019

The goal is a retirement portfolio net worth of $1,000,000 and an annual passive income of $40,000. We are currently mortgage free but won’t be including the value of our principal residence or cottage as we have no plans to sell either. We have also omitted the value of our workplace defined benefit pension plans and our children’s RESP.

It was more of the same for May. I spent a lot of time and some money on the rental units as well as on our cottage. We also contributed to our children's educational savings plan which isn't included in the below numbers. We also have a new tenant moving into one of the units in July and we were able to increase the rent by $150 a month which will add another $1800 a year of revenue. We contributed a measly $400 to our retirement portfolio which is only a spec when compared to the pounding the portfolio took. The portfolio was down approx.$18,000 which represents approx. 3.8% of our retirement portfolio.
